About Us
Hi. I'm Andy - owner of Stumpbox Pedals.
I handbuild limited run, premium guitar and bass effects pedals. They are often inspired by the classic vintage pedal tones of my favourite artists, but with a constant vision to make them more usable for today's players and recording artists.
I concentrate on analogue-based designs, using carefully selected, high quality components to ensure consistent performance and reliability.
I'm an electrical and electronics engineering graduate based on the Wirral in the North West of England.
I spent 30+ years working in the corporate electrical engineering world before turning my lifelong passion for guitars and guitar electronics into a business.
My goal is to build amazing effects pedals, with tones that will inspire guitarists and bassists to make truly awesome music, whether that is as a recording and gigging musician or a home-player.
