Who are we?
We are Stumpbox Pedals, a company based in the Wirral, UK.
We take the privacy, including the security, of personal information we hold about you seriously. This privacy notice is designed to inform you about how we collect personal information about you and how we use that personal information. You should read this privacy notice carefully so that you know and can understand why and how we use the personal information we collect and hold about you.

Details of personal information which we collect and hold about you
Firstly, we never share any personal data with third parties with the sole exception of sharing the name and address of customers who have placed orders with our delivery couriers.
Nor do we subscribe to any data analytics for this website such as Google Analytics. We use GoDaddy to host this web site but do not subscribe to any analytics from them either.
The only data of our customers that we hold is:
(i) What you supply us with your orders, i.e. name, postal address, email and (if supplied) telephone number, which we hold for a period of 5 years from date or order along with a record of items ordered. After 5 years these records will be anonymised and personal data destroyed.
(ii) If you subscribe to our mailing list, we will hold your name and email address until such time as you unsubscribe from our mailing list.
When will we contact you?
Unless you have subscribed to our mailing list, you won't receive any marketing communications from us. We may contact you with any updates on orders you have placed on us as necessary.
What are your rights?
You have the following rights:
- the right to ask for a copy of personal data that we hold about you (the right of access)
- the right to request that we delete personal data held on you; where we no longer have any legal reason to retain it (the right of erasure or to be forgotten)
- the right to ask us to update and correct any out-of-date or incorrect personal data that we hold about you (the right of rectification)
- the right to opt out of any marketing communications that we may send you and to object to us using or holding your personal data if we have no legitimate reasons to do so (the right to object)
- the right (in certain circumstances) to ask us to ‘restrict processing of data’; which means that we would need to secure and retain the data for your benefit but not otherwise use it (the right to restrict processing)
- the right (in certain circumstances) to ask us to supply you with some of the personal data we hold about you in a structured machine-readable format and/or to provide a copy of the data in such a format to another organisation (the right to data portability).
